My Diwali Experience

I had fun on Diwali
Blowing fire crackers
That were noisy and bursting
Lighting sparklers and pencil torches
Which were starry and bright
Firing flower pots and chakkars
Which were a golden fountain
The whistling chakkar was the best.
I feel very happy and glad
For learning to burst crackers.

Sam, the chocolate lover

Sam was very fond of chocolates. One day his mother took him to her friend's house. the interior decoration of the house was good. As Sam sat down on the sofa, he looked in front of him. He saw a very big jar full of candies on a table. He jumped off the sofa and ran closer to the jar. He shouted, "Those chocolates will be very sweet. I want to eat them. So he opened the lid and grabbed the candies to eat them. He ate a lot and lot and lot. Finally he got a stomach ache. His mother patted his back and said, "Now do you see why you should not eat so many candies because you will get a stomach ache." Sam said, "Alright!I won't eat so many candies anymore. Give me less candies and more chocolates." The mother with a smile thought how to make his understand.

We breathe air
Which is everywhere
Though with everyone we share
Clean air is rare

At which I cannot stare.

The Mother and Baby Birds

A mother bird lived with her two babies in a nest. One day the mother bird said,"We shall go on a trip". The first baby bird asked,"You mean from one place to another?" "Yes", said the mother bird.




Next day at 3.30am they started the trip and ended it at 4.45pm. They flew to find juicy worms. They saw an old vulture diving into a lake for fish. It took out the fish, swallowed it and saw the baby birds. He started to chase them. The mother bird was scared. The baby birds were scared too. The mother bird told them to fly away and rest on a branch of a banyan tree far away from the vulture.

The mother bird then caught the bad, old vulture and tied him to a branch of a thorny tree. Only when the vulture closed his eyes she went back to the children. They had some rest to start a new trip the next morning.

The Monkey Who Wished

One day a monkey named Flex felt very lonely. He found a heart tree with leaves in the shape of hearts. Some bees lived in that tree because there was a lot of honey in those hearts. The monkey wished that he could have been a bee too. That night he went back to his house, had some bananas and went to sleep thinking about the bees. Next day his wish came true and he transformed into a beautiful honey bee. Then he flew to the pink coloured heart tree. He found his new friends who were the honey bees. He lived happily with his friends and never felt lonely again.

The Fish Family

One day there was a fish. She was waiting for daddy fish and baby fish. The baby fish came. When it was night the daddy fish came in the fish bus. Later when the bus stopped daddy came home. He thought that the baby fish was sleeping and the mother fish was sleeping too. Daddy went to sleep.
When it was morning baby fish was waiting for mommy and daddy. Then they came. And they lived happily ever after.
The End


And again......

One day there was a fish walking swimming. Swimming like a '8'. He makes a 'S'. After he was done he went in.
When it was night daddy came. It was holiday for the baby fish. Next day baby fish went to school and daddy fish went to office. They both came home at the same time.
Mommy, daddy, baby- 3 of them went shopping. They bought broccoli, apple, pear, orange and grapes. They came back home.

Little Brother

I had a little brother
I kept him with me
When the lights went off
And it was too dark in the night
He ran away to you.

I had a little brother
I kept him with me
When he had a bad dream
He was scared
He ran away to you.

I had a little brother
I kept him with me
When I kept him close to me
He was not scared
And he happily slept.

My friends in school

One day Harieshwar, Jithin, Adarsh, Ashwin and Rishab woke up. They got ready for school. They missed their school bus and went by car to their school. They told their teacher that they missed the bus. They went on a field trip to Parle factory. They had lunch and they went back home. Then, Ashwin called up Rishab and asked,"How did you like the field trip?" Rishab said, "Great." Then Rishab called up Jithin and asked, "How was school?" Jithin said, "Very nice". Jithin called up Adarsh and asked, "Did you like the food they gave for lunch?" Adarsh said, "The best food I have ever tasted." Adarsh called up Harieshwar and asked, "How did you like school, my friend?" Harieshwar said, "Very good and interesting." They all happily went to sleep after dinner.
